Ja, wir haben in die neue Wohnung umgezogen. Ich kann sagen, dass ich diese Wohnung mag – es ist gut gelegen und mein Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich. Allerdings ist es ein bisschen anstrengend, dass seit fast 3 Wochen wir diesen Umzug nicht zu Ende können.
Und ich muss zugeben, dass wahrscheinlich aufgrund dieser grauen Wetter ich meine Familie mehr als üblich vermisse. Glücklicherweise kommt meine Schwester bald an, mich zu besuchen! Auf der anderen Seite ist es eine sehr gute Zeit, wann ich tatsächlich erkenne, was in meinem Leben wirklich wichtig ist. Also erlebe ich wirklich das, was die frühere Freiwillige mir erzählt haben.
In letzter Zeit habe ich viele neue Freunde gemacht. Magdeburg ist eine schöne Stadt, weil Magdeburg die Universität und viele Studenten hat. Deshalb gibt es auch viele Studenten-Partys und andere Veranstaltungen. Ich muss nie einsam und gelangweilt zu Hause bleiben :)

Więc tak, przeprowadziliśmy się do nowego mieszkania. Mogę powiedzieć, że mi się podoba – znajduje się w dogodnym położeniu, a mój pokój jest bardzo przytulny. Jednakże trochę męczące jest to, że od prawie 3 tygodni przeprowadzka nie może się skończyć i nie możemy posprzątać.
Poza tym muszę przyznać, że – chyba z powodu tej pogody – tęsknię za moją rodziną bardziej niż zwykle. Na szczęście moja siostra przyjeżdża niedługo w odwiedziny! Z drugiej strony jest to też bardzo dobry czas, kiedy zaczynam sobie zdawać sprawę, co w moim życiu jest naprawdę ważne. To czas zwiększania dystansu do spraw, które wcześniej wydawały się śmiertelnie poważne. Zatem naprawdę doświadczam tego, o czym mówili mi wcześniej członkowie mojej organizacji wysyłającej, jak również poprzedni wolontariusze.
Ostatnie kilka tygodni było czasem poznawania nowych ludzi i spędzania z nimi czasu podczas różnych wydarzeń. Dużym plusem Magdeburga jest to, że znajduje się tu uniwersytet. Rozwija się więc zatem życie studenckie, czyli przeróżne imprezy i inne „eventy”. Dzięki temu nigdy nie jestem zmuszona nudzić się samotnie w domu :)

So yes, we have moved to the new apartment. I may say that I like this flat – it is well-situated and my room is very cosy. However it is a little bit tiring when since almost 3 weeks we cannot finish this move.
And I must admit that this grey weather make me miss my family more than usual. Fortunately, my sister is going to visit me soon! On the other hand it is a very good time when I actually realize what is really important in my life. It is a time for making more distance to the issues that previously were extremely serious ones. So I really experience what I was told by my sending organisation’s mentor and previous volunteers.
Last time was full of making new friends and going out with them. Magdeburg is a nice city because of the university. When there is the university there must be students as well. And with students there are also student events. Thanks to that I am never forced to stay lonely and bored at home :)
