Before caming to eurocamp my expectations from it was not high. I thought that it will be one of this boring voluntary job camp. After finishing the second week of the eurocamp I can confidently say that eurocamp is one of the best youth organizations that I have experinced....
We are about 70 participants from almost 30 countries and we spend our half day working on the voluntary jobs. I personally work in the kinderheim, painting the fences. Since I love children and helping people, being a part of this project makes me very happy.
Besides working in these projects we also participate in local events such as summer fest in dessau. I can't believe myself that I spent my entire afternoon jumping on a huge baloon with the children from the kinderheim. I would be very glad if I could make a child laugh a little bit.
Of course I should mention our crazy party nights. It is unbelievable that we work hard everyday but we still have the energy to party until 3 in the morning and get up at 7 the next day. Long story short, I am very glad that I came to eurocamp and meet with the other eurocampers...
